Filter vessels can be classified by construction materials, pressure/temperature rating, ASME code or non-code, vertical or horizontal, simplex or duplex, cartridge or bag, media bed, intake or exhaust, panel, backwashing, etc. Filter vessels from Filter Resources are available in carbon steel, stainless steel, and in many exotic metal alloys, and are generally sized by the flow rate of the product stream to be filtered. Line sizes, contaminant loading, bed capacity, and allowable differential pressure are also sizing design considerations.

This filtration equipment is sized, designed, and fabricated from specification data created during a process of coordinated input and review by plant engineering, operations, and/or maintenance supervision personnel. This data is accumulated from prior and existing plant requirements, existing specifications, and the most current filtration technology. Expansion needs are also addressed and considered during this process.

Rentals, Cleaning, Repair and Recovery

Filter Resources, LLC offers custom services to accommodate urgent filtration requirements and provide quick delivery for customers' emergency needs. As we support best-in-class filtration brands, we can provide full repair and recovery within 2 weeks or less.

Filter Resources also has the in-house capabilities to repair and/or re-screen strainer baskets. A large stock of perforated metal, woven wire, and other materials in carbon steel, and alloy metals are on hand for rapid turnaround.

Ultrasonic Filter Cleaning

An ultrasonic cleaner is a cleaning device that uses ultrasound (usually from 20-400 kHz) and a compatible cleaning solvent (sometimes ordinary tap water) to clean delicate items. The ultrasound can be used with just water, but use of a solvent compatible for the item to be cleaned and the soiling enhances the effect.

Cavitation bubbles are induced by the agitation and act on contaminants. This action also penetrates blind holes, cracks, and recesses.

Filter Resources uses ultrasonic filter cleaning to remove built up particulate from filters. This enables a prolonged life at a significantly lower cost than a new filter cartridge.

Ultrasonic filter cleaning is not only a cost savings but also offers a fast turnaround of the filters to ensure the least amount of down time possible.

Rental Filters

Filter Resources maintains a fleet of ASME code stamped rental filter housings for turnaround and temporary emergency needs when equipment failures, planned outages or supplement filtration requirements arise.

These rental filter units are skid mounted for mobility and utilization of forklift equipment. Most units have cartridge loading platforms and flow rate capabilities from 50 to 2500 GPM.

This type of filter has metal hardware with fabric covers that can be replaced many times at a fraction of the cost of new filters.
